Spur Of the Moment Card

Yesterday the DT Challenge was to create a card and send it out on the same day. Okay that was yesterday.... I managed to get it done but didn't get it posted here because Phillip had to be taken to the doctor to get his cast put on his leg. (He is doing fine with that!)

The card was supposed to let someone special know you cared about them.

It could be made in a hurry (thank Goodness because I only had a few minutes to make it) and it could be made from scraps (which mine was.)

So here is the card that I made:

My house smells like brownies... why because I've been baking and then it hit me... use those dies for something other than SCRAPBOOKING!

Little Altered Items!!!

The Challenge was to Alter a Pumpkin or Jack-O-Lantern. Once I started I could not stop. I was supposed to do one and I did two and have many more ideas! This could become a major obsession! The only thing we had to do was use our dies! Didn't matter what brand or size... just use your dies!

There Needs To Be More Scrapbooking Time!

I am two full years behind on my scrapbooks!!!! I need to make more time to get caught up with these.

Part of being a member of the DT for Scrap-Mart is being able to see things that maybe others don't. I am not good at this but I am getting better!

This flag was made from a Reideer Die.

I made a Table Setting for the upcoming holiday.

I've been busy!!!!

The wheels have been turning non-stop. I have been scrapbooking but I've also taken a lot of family time this week end.

We went to Six Flags yesterday. I must be getting old because I was so tired at the end of the day. Joe and I didn't really ride too many rides. We watched the kids ride but even they are too old to be stuck with mom and dad. They were off riding and Joe and I looked in the stores and ate lots of stuff we probably should no have.

But anyway I have cards to share.

I Am On Cloud 9

My feet haven't touched the floor!!!!

I entered a contest for a position on a Design Team (DT). This is a scrapbooking company that I order from on a regular basis. Anyway, I never thought I would have a chance at the DT spot (there were 4 spots up for grabs) but I got word that I did make it onto the team!!!!

I am so excited.

Forgive the Mess

A few days ago I cleaned up my blog, getting rid of a lot of clutter and stuff that really didn't matter.

I want to make a new start and put stuff here that really matters in my life.

Most of what you will see from this point on will be family stories, pictures of family events and of course my passion - my scrapbooking pages and other items that I have made.

My slide show will be added to but I will also put pictures of different creations on posts.

(And please - if a picture is blurred it is because I don't have permission from the person in the picture or they have requested not to appear on the net - I don't want you to think that my photos were bad .)
